I’m originally from the UK but now call Singapore home. Cycling has been part of my life for many years and I’ve learnt that some of life’s best lessons come from taking on challenges that seem just beyond your comfort zone. I often say that we all have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we only have one. That belief has shaped many of my decisions over the last few years and is one of the reasons I’m riding HIRO4HOPE. I’ve spent most of my life chasing finish lines, whether on a bike, in running shoes or building technology businesses around the world. These days, I’m far more interested in journeys that matter than medals. Covering more than 1,000 kilometres through Vietnam and Cambodia will be tough, but it is nothing compared with the challenges faced every day by the children and families supported by the Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation. If a few days in the saddle can help give a child access to education, healthcare and a brighter future, every climb and every kilometre is worthwhile. I’d be incredibly grateful if you could support my ride. Every donation, however small, goes directly towards changing lives in Cambodia.
